Refurbishment of Queens Hall

Speciality-made translucent safety glass, manufactured to suit existing heritage roof. We measured, created moulds and supplied all replacement curved and flat glass and worked with Melbourne Pressed Metal to achieve this incredible result.

“We contracted Australian Curved Glass to help us complete the heritage restoration of the Queens Hall at the State Library.

This project was one of the most challenging we have undertaken as it combined the heritage restoration of cast iron and timber frames with the installation of new modern curved glass required to meet Australian standards, as well as the aesthetic expectations of the client, the project architects and the Principal Contractor.
